So i'm really not an Apple fan, mostly becauseI don’t just like the limitations of iOS. But I do think that the iPad Mini 5 may be a reallygreat value for money, which I didn’t think i might say for an Apple Product. Hey guys, let’s findout why you ought to buy the new iPad Mini 5. There isn’t tons to mention about the designof the Mini 5, because it is just like the iPad mini 4, which looked almost an equivalent as thefirst iPad Mini, but I don't think that it’s a nasty thing, because remains very thin forwhat it's inside, and at 300 grams, it's Very light for one handed use, even whileusing a canopy .
There are very non 2019 sized bezels at thetop and bottom, but I don’t mind them that very much like they create it holding it easier inone hand for extended periods of your time . It also allows the front of this iPad to havetouch ID rather than Face ID, which I see as a plus because touch ID are often usedfrom any angle, and that i prefer it on a tablet over Face ID, albeit it doesn’t feel asmodern. The display may be a 7.9 inch IPS Panel with a2048 x 1536 resolution, and it's pretty nice with all its DCI-P3 color gamut, brightness, viewing angles and stuff. I even have seen people making an enormous distribute ofthe True Tone support that we've this point , but I don’t find it to be that special.
But yes, the display *is* specialized , asI was expecting, and it’s also laminated so everything appears to get on the surface. This display features a pixel density of 324 pixelsper inch, whereas the larger iPad Air has it at 265 ppi, so while this is often a smallerdisplay, it's significantly sharper, and therefore the pixels (pixel grid) do get noticeablebelow 300 ppi, therefore the Mini having the sharpest screen on any iPad may be a great point . We don't have a USB type C port where thelightning port is, like some people were expecting, but we still have the headphone jack whichthe larger iPad Pros don’t have, because that creates tons of sense
. Speaking of size, the Mini is in fact goingto be more and fewer suitable than the larger iPads counting on what you would like to use itfor. The processor and other specs during this andthe larger iPad Air are an equivalent , therefore the only difference is that of size. If you'll be using it for watching videos, surfing the online , reading books, playing games, then the iPad Mini should be the right size. for enjoying games this size is simply perfect,as you'll hold it in your hand sort of a smartphone, and with the facility that this has, and thegreat selection of games that iOS offers, it are often the right gaming tablet for you. On the opposite side, if you would like to use it morefor doing actual work, and use it sort of a laptop, then the larger iPads are getting to be better. . It’s quite small if you employ in on a tableor on your lap rather than holding it in your hands, and while the split screen featureis nice to possess , it’s not the simplest thing to use on a 7.9 inch screen. Unlike the larger iPad Air, the Mini doesnot support have the smart keyboard connector, so you won’t be ready to use the smart keyboardsfrom Apple.
But you'll use any Bluetooth keyboard, whichcould actually be a way better option given the dimensions of the Mini. iPad Mini 5 is that the first iPad Mini to havesupport for Apple Pencil, (first gen), which is pretty impressive, but the larger iPadsare in fact getting to be far better if you've got a use for that, as they're going to offer amuch bigger canvas. So overall, as long as you're not tryingto replace your laptop with this, and you would like to use it in your bed or other similarplaces, i feel that the dimensions of iPad Mini is that the best. Apple’s A12 Bionic CPU is perhaps its biggestselling point, and therefore the reason why i'm calling it an excellent value for money. It’s basically an equivalent chip that you simply wouldget with an iPhone 10 S which costs 3 times quite this, which has the foremost powerfulCPU during a smartphone at the instant . The gaming performance of this device is amongstthe best, you've got one among the foremost powerful GPU available here, and you'll really playall the demanding games at their highest settings.
PUBG easily runs at 60 FPS at highest qualitysettings, and other games like Elder Scrolls Blades are getting to perform well too. The UI is in fact perfectly smooth, withall the great animations that apple is understood for, the gestures for switching apps, multitasking, using the keyboard are all really great, Everything flies flawlessly, without droppinga frame of the animation, and it does feel very nice to use. Taking us into another great feature to haveon iPad, which is iOS. i'm running the beta version of the soonto be released iPad OS, and It *really* fixes tons of annoyances I’ve had with iOS andbrings some much needed improvements. you continue to can’t do many things you’d beable to try to to on Android, but Android just doesn’t have anything that competes with iPads oroffers an identical value, and there are some areas where iOS is really better than Android. There are some very top quality apps thatare not available on Android,
Garageband is AMAZING and free, I don’t know if there’ssomething that’s as good as Lumafusion on Android, so all of that is nice, but thereare cases where Android has the nicer app too, so if you have an Android phone, youcan basically use all the apps that exist, and I think it makes the iPad very appealingfor people who don’t use an iPhone, and if you use an iPhone you can use all the ecosystemfeatures like Airdrop and Handoff. This is how the speakers on the ipad mini5 sound, they sound pretty good, except for when they get covered, because they are onlyon one side There are cameras on this tablet, but yoursmartphone probably has a better camera, and you don’t look very intelligent taking pictureson a tablet. The upgraded front camera on the other handis pretty decent, the microphones also record great audio when you’re filming yourself,so for facetime and for recording yourself, this is pretty decent. Apple claims a 12 hour battery life on thisand the battery life is pretty good, Apple devices have outstandingly low idle powerconsumption, so that’s great.
Although, I personally use Airplane mode inthe control center to turn WiFi and Bluetooth off because switching it off in control centerdoesn’t actually doesn’t turn them off, which I find to be pretty stupid So in conclusion, I think that the iPad Mini5 is one of the few products from Apple that I would actually consider a good value formoney. We don’t have a 128GB variant, which wouldhave been perfect for a lot of people, and that’s one of the things that Apple does, but the 64 GB variant should be good enough for a lot of people too, especially becausewe stream most of our content online these days. This tablet works exactly like you would expect, which is a good thing. And except for the lack of an AMOLED display, which Samsung’s Upcoming Tablets are going to have, I really can’t point out any flaws.
The performance is outstanding for the price, and with iPad OS, iOS has improved a lot, which really improves the experience of usingit, so it is a product that I highly recommend, and I’ll have my links in the video descriptionif you have decided to buy it So that was it for this video, do give ita thumbs up if you found it helpful, subscribe with notification bell icon for more videoslike this, and I’ll see you, in the next one. [This is how the speakers sound, I find themto be pretty good, except when they get covered because they are only on one side]
